The project was completed across four phases and encompassed the total refurbishment of 18 galleries throughout the museum space. The much loved landmark was transformed into a truly world-class national museum for Scotland.
BECK managed, co-ordinated and undertook the entire fabrication within our main production facility. The works consisted of display cases, display case fixtures, electro-mechanical interactives, graphic production, AV hardware, electrical and data distribution and cabling, exhibition lighting, scenic and set works, open display plinths, artefact mounts, floor finishes, decorating and structural rigging.
Exciting and innovative exhibition galleries were created in spaces not previously opened to the public and now provide a permanent home to some of the museum’s outstanding collections.
